In humanity's constant quest for truth, many have enjoyed standing on the "flat side of the world" for a bit too long. Some people simply have trouble reconciling their own beliefs with the truths of reality. And - whether it's refusing to realize that a certain bad relationship will never be good or that the entire universe doesn't actually revolve around the Earth - we've all found ourselves at some point...standing on the flat side of the world.
